Sights and Sounds: Christmas in the Villiage

Horse and tractor drawn trolleys will transport visitors throughout the village.  Each building provides a special experience for each visitor. Children can visit St. Nicholas, write a letter to Santa, and make a Christmas ornament. All guests can enjoy holiday music, visit a one room school decorated by children, add a link to the community paper chain, enjoy a roasted chestnut, watch cooking on a wood cook stove, and observe the carpenter, the blacksmith, the barber, the seamstress, as they all prepare for Christmas. The general store and the confection and gift shop will be staffed by shopkeepers for some old time shopping. The Children’s Castle Theater will perform “A Christmas Carol” with performances at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM each day.
